I recall some US soldiers raping a 12 year old Japanese girl in Okinawa. That feels like 20 years ago. That was a huge international scandal. The Italian killing feels like it’s getting put down the memory hole when compared to the Japanese thing.

Tell that to some of the ground-based Air Force rescue squadron 'Nam vets. Those guys were badasses.
