If you were to examine your own life could you relate to the the top portion as the present and the bottom portion is the past? Or the opposite? Perhaps the top and the bottom parts of the image are both in the future? Or are you so devoid of emotions that you cannot relate to either image?

I can't quite figure out what the top portion is about. There's something "American" I'm not getting. If I must talk about myself (sigh!)...I was the top dude many years ago after a marriage bust-up but I was young and pulled through and met my current missus. I'd hate to be mid-30's and not hooked up. It's nigh impossible to start a relationship mid-age onwards.
