Expecting a woman to anticipate the consequences of her actions might be setting the bar a little high, don't you think?

I don't know for a fact, but my instincts tell me it's true. There is a Norwegian film director who first proposed the theory.

The theory has taken a lot of ridicule, which I think is undeserved. I myself wondered how an unskilled writer could crank out seven increasingly complex novels in a short period of time on her first try. The director, Nina Grünfeld, said it best, and very logically:

“Is it possible that a person can write six thick books that are translated into 55 languages and sell more than 250 million copies in less than 10 years? Is it probable that the stories then get filmed and commercially exploited to the degree seen here, without any well-thought-out strategy or highly professional players behind them?”

I searched for "j.k. rowling didn't write harry potter" and got a good return. There are some videos, but I don't watch videos.
