I think an Egyptian origin is more plausible, through a Greco-Egyptian vector. Kabbalah is fairly late in the game. It has origins in the mystical traditions of the Hebrews (Merkabah and Hekhalot magic), but anything remotely recognizable as modern Kabbalah (emerging well into the post-Roman world) is basically Neoplatonism recast with Judeo-Christian imagery. I'm interested to know why you think the vector moved through China first, before returning to the Hebrews.

Its one thing to speculate things, and it's better if those claims provide good explanations for what is the case today, but pure explanationism doesn't cut it. There are a thousand explanations I could give for why things are such and such a way today. The question is how do we know?

There's documented archeological evidence that points in that direction, it's not easy to find, but it's out there. Michael Tsarion has done a lot of investigation into human pre-history. I find it speculative, but does put a lot of things into perspective, in particular the ruling bloodlines, and the symbology they use.
