Cold showers are a practical thing. When you steel yourself and get through them as if they don't faze you it makes you feel manly af and this feeling sticks with you. The more uncomfortable you are, the stronger this effect will be. There's other ways to get this feeling too, such as winning something against a competing man.

When you feel manly, strong, and unfazeable, you act manly, strong, and unfazeable and everyone reacts to you as if you're manly, strong, and unfazeable. You should get familiar with and always nurture this feeling, because it sets your path. It's something that's completely in your control but you have to choose to do things that promote it, and not do things that degrade it. Every single day.

Some guys live this way instinctually but if you're more cerebral or something else is screwing with your instincts (like the forced habit of suppressing your natural instincts around race and faggotry all your life) then some guys need this literally explained.

Cold showers only feel cold in the beginning, after a few minutes, they feel warm.

I have been cold showering for about 10 years now. It's great and saves some money on the power bill.
The coldest shower ever was one particular cold winter. It was so cold that the frost line in the ground went to deep that it froze my water lines. After the town unfroze the lines with a steam lance, i had to let a tap on all winter to prevent the lines from freezing again. And every shower was with just barely above freezing water.

I think it was Granite Pill at old Voat that always tried to get me into that Wim Hoff cold shower thing. I can't do it, cold showers suck.

"... underarm ..." I disagree. The full exposure on the back is what stresses me the most.

Agree that cold showers are sometimes awesome, but I only do them in the summer for maximum "pain."
