To be fair one of those reports was from me. A group of obnoxious indians annoyed me one time, so, months later when they had an identical large (30 odd) gathering during a lockdown I reported them because I'm petty, racist and hold a grudge.
Didn't give a shit about covid rules, just wanted to fuck with them.

I don't think they got in trouble though, they were probably all living in the same room so technically not a rule break.

Right before we left the last place we lived (it was a condo development) there was this middle aged asshole who called the cops on everyone for every little thing. Even me once for a "unlicensed" dog. Didn't even have a dog at the time. Anyway, I see him a week before we move out and he walks by and it was clear he got his ass kicked pretty bad. I asked him what happened and he said he was in an accident and he just kept walking. I bet, he accidently called the cops on the wrong guy.

That was the one aspect of the madness that I saw people push back against in Ireland thankfully. There were a few of course, but in general people would mind their own business if they weren’t willing to say something to your face.
