No. Ragnar was asking what I'd been doing (he's very nosy and wants to make sure no-one's doing anything more interesting than him) and so I told him the fierce winds we've been having exposed some of my potatoes and the danger was they'd go green. And that set him off and he started screaming obscenities.

Anyway...decided to lift a few plants out of sheer curiosity and got a pleasant surprise. They are beautiful. The missus, who initially sneered at my potato crop and said I'd get "all feathers and no meat" is now interested and has ceded some of her vegetable plot to me because it's the best area in the garden for growing vegetables - get's a lot of sun.

I'm going to present Voat with a final potato report when I harvest the lot and the big question will be...was it worth it i.e. Cost of seed potatoes ($90) v $90 worth of supermarket potatoes (approx.270).
