Fellow Goats, where ever you are, I want you all to know that I am thankful for you. This little corner of the internet keeps me grounded. You all reassure me that I'm not alone in the way I view this world. You share your thoughts, your humor, your music, and your support with me and you do it without expecting anything in return. Thank you. I hope everyone who reads this has a great day today, I myself have much to be grateful for. I just wanted you all to know that you are counted in that list. Happy Thanksgiving guys.

People who are lonely or mentally ill (the two go together more often than not)
usually get into a bad state around the holidays. Lots of depression and suicides around this time. There's a lot to be thankful for. Anglo white men fought and died in an unknown land to be free of the monarchy and banks of the time.

Even if one does not have family or anyone during Thanksgiving their bravery and sacrifice is still something to be thankful for in and of itself. There is plenty of good left in the world, letting bad things consume you is like "letting the terrorist win".

Better to just shut up and be happy during times like this. These angry commenter should reflect on why nobody wants to be around them during the holidays and perhaps take action to correct that.
