Tim Pool has always set off my Bullshit alarm. I think he was astro-turfed from the beginning. Years ago when he was just starting to get some traffic, his videos were all useless. Go back and watch his early content. It is just his head superimposed over a static image of an article. He then just reads the content into the screen with some very minor paraphrasing. Occasionally he would say something like "wow, this is big" but not really add any valuable commentary.

Every time I saw a Tim Pool vid I would roll my eyes, watch the first 10 seconds to know what article he was talking about, and then I would go read the article. For a long time I thought Tim's entire purpose was too get the message out to the bottom of the barrel, the quasi-literate who would simply skip content if they have to read. In this context I thought Tim was adding value but I could not understand why he was gaining such popularity.

Looking back I am coming to the conclusion that he was not actually popular. The YT views were fake and he was hyped and pushed on alt-right media by sock puppets. He is manufactured and controlled opposition.

My challenge: Name one important thing Tim has done. Name one meaningful thing he has said that has not just been commentary on someone else's content. All he does is show up at the right time and in the right place, gets in front of a camera and say "Look at Me!"
