Interesting fact about the Canaanites. They were there, and then the jews were there.

Except the only things that changed culturally were the lack of pig bones, in other words the people who lived there lived identical lives only no more pork was being consumed. (The Canaanites ate pork, then the jews didn't, if this wasn't clear)

The conclusion was that the Canaanites were just a previous generation of the jews, whose cultural practices changed as the religion was becoming more established.

My own realization and interpretation was that the jews made up the story of completely killing off the Canaanites so other people's would fear them. This makes more sense and is more in line with how jews operate today.

Israelites were essentially canaanites. They spoke the same language and were gentically the same. Im not even sure the Israelites were the same people as the hebrews. They changed their name and the name of god was changed from El to Yahweh. They may have picked up some egyptians or arabians in exile. But they were significantly related to the previous population. The ashkhenazi are about 50% related to jesus’ people but they picked up alot of european genetics in the last 2000 years.

The important thing to understand is that by living an itinerant strategy and exploiting other nations, they have developed traits that have made them good at those things. They are mercenary and secretive because thats how theyve made a living off gentiles, through deception. Economy shapes morals.

Its never good enough for some people. I dont know who that guy is or what he did or didnt do. Nobody is going to make the right call all of the time.
