Well part of the fun is just to imagine how each timeline would look. That would be more effective and interesting probably, but in some ways, jewish fuckery has caused some interesting responses like the rise of the Nazi Party. So, it's just another interesting possible branch if the 3rd Reich managed to win and successfully establish 1,000+ years of genuine and uninhibited European dominance.

Not sure that would matter much, the republic had become corrupt beyond redemption by the time he crossed the rubicon. And if Ceasar hadn’t done it either Pompey or Crassus would’ve seized power. I think the fact Octavian was able to seize power after Ceaser’s death and maintain the effective monarchy indicates pretty clearly that the republic was already dead; it was just a matter of who was willing to take the stand to take it over rather than the ambitions of one man at that stage.

On the flip side, if Gaius Cassius Longinus was deleted from history and Caesar was never assassinated, he was planning on spending most of his time on wars in the East. The muslim world could have been nipped in the bud if people just sucked it up and let him go conquer Alexander's old stomping grounds.

Crassus tried to do this and was defeated at the battle of Carhae.
