Xbox is looking to make its consoles the greenest around with a new software update that automatically detects when the local grid is drawing from renewable sources in order to minimize its carbon footprint.
And here I am refurbishing my old Nintendo/Sega consoles and cartridges.
Modern consoles, as a rule, are dogshit. Though I do admit the switch at least seems to have stuck to it's niche properly. AFAIK anyways, I only know of family that own them, mostly to play games with the kids.
the best thing that you can do. the great thing about these is that there arent connected to the internet so from that angle you are okay.
but did you know that power companies will restrict how much electricity you will consume in the future. this is just the "progression" of where this is all going.
