This is fake and gay. There was $2.5 million appropriated for Senators homes. $2.5 million in total, not to each, so $25k each. And it was to install linked security systems at home with the Capitol police systems instead of to a private company like ADT, etc.

i.e. Capitol police would be notified of issues at a Senator's home, not some company who can then issue a 911 call to local cops, who would then call the Capitol police only after realizing it was a Senator's home.
