I fucking love chopping wood.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 3 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 02:00:25 ago (+3/-0)

It's cathartic. After a certain point you get something akin to a runners high.

[ - ] Her0n 2 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 03:18:28 ago (+2/-0)

It's therapeutic.

[ - ] 3Whuurs 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 01:45:51 ago (+1/-0)

Amen brother!
I love seeing how effective experience can make power, over just raw power.

[ - ] UncleDoug 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 02:52:27 ago (+1/-0)

It's a great stress relief.

I use a Fiskars axe, but I'd love to get a Gränsfors Bruk or Hultafors.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 2 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 10:48:14 ago (+2/-0)

I'd love to get a Gränsfors Bruk or Hultafors.

If you chop wood every year, just go for it. Buy cheap tools when you don't use them often, but the one's you use often should be the good stuff.

[ - ] zongongo 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 16:36:20 ago (+1/-0)

The Gransfors Bruks will not deprecated in value much, even if you break the handle.

[ - ] Belfuro 9 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 01:03:58 ago (+9/-0)

Why does he let his kids scribble crayons on his arms?

[ - ] Her0n 7 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 03:19:56 ago (+8/-1)

Because a good father let's his kids do things like this.

The tattoos don't suit him well at all, but I don't like tattoos anyway.

Touche

[ - ] iThinkiShitYourself 6 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 01:26:55 ago (+6/-0)

Tattoos don't match him

[ - ] Her0n 6 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 03:21:07 ago (+6/-0)

Dude just explodes the wood apart. I'd blow out my elbow doing that. I'll take a slow, almost melodic pace myself. I'm not racing a machine though.

[ - ] shitface9000 6 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 09:33:57 ago (+7/-1)

IDGAF : tats are gay

You slow down a lot, and keep a good pace so as to not blow out anything. Take a break once an hour to hydrate.

[ - ] Cunt [op] 0 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 17:51:27 ago (+0/-0)

Slower and sweatier I bet.

[ - ] Questionable_2 4 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:14:22 ago (+4/-0)

He's only splitting pine and he's not even quartering it.

[ - ] Cunt [op] 8 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:45:46 ago (+8/-0)

He's making porn not trying to make it fit in your fireplace.

[ - ] Her0n 0 points 2.4 yearsJan 16, 2023 07:52:53 ago (+0/-0)

Try not to get too frothy now...

[ - ] Anus_Expander 4 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:56:04 ago (+4/-0)

the tatts make him look mentally ill

[ - ] germ22 4 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 09:12:14 ago (+4/-0)

I can appreciate his physical fitness and good technique, but he is racing a extremely poorly designed log spliter.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 3 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 10:51:40 ago (+3/-0)

Yeah, that log splitter is just a simple machine to allow old/crippled/weak men, or women, to split a good number of logs. It isn't designed for efficiency, speed, or anything else than being cheap power on demand.

Edit: in fact, it's slowness is a design feature, allowing for said folks to have time to maneuver a chunk of wood into the proper place.

[ - ] GrayDragon 3 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 05:31:43 ago (+3/-0)*

Also, chopping different wood is easily seen. If superman was chopping oak, zero chance he would be splitting those logs.

(Only know because I grew up on a house with a lot of oak trees.)

[ - ] Monica 0 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 09:41:41 ago (+0/-0)

That's what I always had to work with.

But that guy doesn't look like a twink. I doubt digger would be interested.

[ - ] diggernicks -1 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 12:36:16 ago (+0/-1)

There's no little boys, isnark is not interested

[ - ] GrayDragon 2 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 05:29:13 ago (+2/-0)

Did this faggot just chop a ton of wood before doing the video? He sounds completely out of breath.

[ - ] MightyMorphinFaggot 11 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 05:49:07 ago (+11/-0)

Probably from banging your wife lol

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 4 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:24:48 ago (+4/-0)

GrayDragon is an eligible (lol) bachelor.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 10:52:23 ago (+0/-0)

Do your cardio folks!

[ - ] 0rion 2 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 12:50:24 ago (+2/-0)

I fail to understand why I should care about some wood chopping faggot trying to farm fake internet points. Seriously people...how is this any different from virtue signaling trannies on Twitter?

Social media is a cancer.

[ - ] ItsOk2bArian 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 12:58:21 ago (+1/-0)

And that is why you will never make @Cunt wet

[ - ] AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior 2 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 19:31:12 ago (+2/-0)

Covered in tats, just like the women in porn for men.

[ - ] boekanier 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 02:04:58 ago (+1/-0)

I'm sure I can't do that...

[ - ] TheGreatWhiteHope 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 02:46:37 ago (+1/-0)

Logs that size should be quartered though, no?

[ - ] Rotteuxx 3 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:13:14 ago (+3/-0)

Depends what you throw them into, my wood furnace takes logs up to 12" in diameter, I don't split anything smaller than that. Round logs are great for slow burning.

[ - ] TheNoticing 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 03:04:19 ago (+1/-0)

Excellent economy of motion.

[ - ] Wahaha 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 04:27:04 ago (+1/-0)

Around 20 years ago I saw a movie about the early 20th century, where they had some machine (based on steam, I think) that would put iron bars (don't remember exactly) into the ground and they had a competition with the "strongest" guy around or so, who would use a hammer.

The guy lost and everyone cheered, since hard labor wouldn't be needed anymore.

So I am wondering... how is tech from over a hundred years ago suddenly relevant? And why has the narrative changed?

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 5 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 08:32:47 ago (+5/-0)

Yeah, that's the story of John Henry. It's a tall tale from the mid to late 19th century about a strong sambo that helped build america. Early kike propaganda if you ask me.

[ - ] puppy528 3 points 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 07:54:13 ago (+3/-0)

Lawd, lawd; what a steel-drivin' man.

[ - ] Scruffy_Nerfherder 1 point 2.4 yearsJan 15, 2023 10:42:25 ago (+1/-0)

The women of voat will be back shortly.
They are taking a smoke break, and hunting for batteries.
