I've had my bears sitting beside me with their head resting right in my lap...they're very personal animals, so much so that I quit hunting them....2 more months and Brutus and Lashes will be up and at it again.

They are real bears and they're family to me...nothing scares me about bears anymore...if you have a bear that gets out of hand you only need to give it a rap on the black spot of it's snout and it'll tame right down...people think dogs are friendly companions?...black bears are big wimps and don't look for trouble.

At this stage of my life there's no more stressful, PHONY, adaptation or tolerance for clown world's broken ideas and wishful illusions, I've seen and experienced shit that has me absolutely disgusted with much of humanity and I'm serious when I state "I wish I didn't know what I know"...my bears are who I am, without them there is no me...my bruin buddies got me through some trying times...I had a big male bear, all of 700lbs, it was back in the mid 2000s, it was blind from old age and that guy knew me, I could be anywhere on my property and he always found me, he loved to have his body scratched with a rake, not a leaf rake but a garden rake but what I really found impressive was how the other bears, sometimes up to 15, never intruded upon it's feeding territory, the healthy bears like to test each other by moving in on another's feeding area or just to poke at someone but it never gets as serious as it looks and sounds...bears like their own table, so to speak, they don't rip and tear with each other's snotty snout meshed in like coyotes and wolves...but even when the other bears were finished their food they wouldn't go to the "table" that was set for the big bruin who couldn't see, he got in late sometimes but his food was always untouched....HUMANS AREN'T AS TRUSTWORTHY AS BEARS....humans rob the blind....I have 3 personal bears that are basically my and my wife's family and they are very different with her, it's like a deference of royalty whereas with me they like to rumble and always test me, especially with the garden hose, tug of war with Brutus all the time...after this episode of life I don't want to get involved with anything else....if my bears were to ever dissappear....so will

This clip endorses the contention that bears are good citizens overall despite there have been fatalities, in a couple of cases the humans were at fault including one man filming on Kodiak Island whose continuing presence over a fairly long period stressed the animals out, they moved camp a couple of times to avoid him where after he got after them and started filming over ..the lead bear eventually killed him.

I have long thought the Park Police in Colorado who have a strict "Do Not Feed the Bears" policy in place are too full of themselves .. ppl should should be able to feed the critters and where it does happen on private property the bears are reportedly well behaved and humorous guests .. in common with cats, dogs and elephants in particular they have a sense of humour.

I'm convinced that animals don't usually bother people as long as people don't fuck with them. There are exceptions to the rule but most of the time the animals either run off or are a little curious. Every alligator I've seen while fishing always hauls ass as soon as it saw me in the kayak.
