If you listen to the rest of that episode you'll see how weak and pathetic of a man he really is, unable to decide if it's a 'good idea' to have the DOJ taking control of 'discipline' in public schools. The guy is a complete fucking clown, he just so happens to be on the right track NOW because his regrets not having success and 'winning' this argument are stronger than the desire to remain in-line.
