Am returning to my roots (fatpeoplehate)...Yeah, I work in healthcare, but have gratefully moved from care delivery. Just before covid, we were retrofitting all the bariatric lifts to hold 600lb capacity (from 400). If I didn't hate them enough, there was this. I can't even begin to describe the horrors. Just heard we're adding 800lb capacity ones. Good times.

Whenever anyone looks like this, talks like this, acts like what they say/think/feel matters in the slightest...the only consolation, and something I wear with a smile, is that they'll be dead soon, and that death will be horrible. Their bodies shutting down from all that abuse is a small respite in the sea of shit they live. The downside is to the ones who have to care for them, but then too, those folks just don't care anymore.

Lastly, being specific, if you try to have 0% body fat, you die before you get there. All sorts of bad things happen internally during the process. The most extreme cases are around 1.5-2% (little more, little less). But you weren't being literal, and I know that.
