Then after a minimum of 1000hrs of experience in no less than 6 months you can take a test+apply for your State License.
1500hrs of experience gets you Certified Residential. Make sure you have a degree, as I think it's required. Varies by state, you can look up your state's requirements.
Then... Do the job. Don't fuck up.
