Some of them dont even see what they did wrong. Or maybe their too embarased to admit it. Its sad though some of the moms who post to mom forums about how they regret doing it. They even use the word tricked. But dont say whose trick they fell for... you get kicked out.

Also the myth that babies often don't cry when the practice is done because it is painless, when we "now know" (they always knew) that the babies don't cry because they are in shock.
