Would you do a DNA test?

I have been wanting to do a DNA test for a long time to accurate results on my heritage. I ordered a test kit but I am somewhat hesitant. I'm not a serial killer or wanted for any crimes. I definitely don't trust these people but I can't come up with a good reason why not. I sent in my DNA a while back to apply to be a bone marrow donor several years ago. So I'm pretty sure my DNA is record somewhere anyway. Is there any other reason why I shouldn't try this out? As far as I know my heritage is 75% British and 25% German. However I want to know more.

Yes, 23andme was and I'm sure is still doing that. Of course, anyone with a lick of brains knows to ignore the less than 2% results so it doesn't really matter. Do not use 23andme regardless.

I'm using my heritage. And when I signed up it asks like 10 questions on whether or not I want to allow the results to be shared. Tbh. I don't really give a fuck. I just want to know my heritage. If they are using our DNA to create cyborg super soldiers. I'm pretty sure they could just go through a pile of trash at mcdonalds. If someone in my family is a criminal. Fuck em. Besides like I said earlier. They ran off with my foreskin as a baby and I already gave DNA to be a bone marrow donor. Before I started thinking about them using my DNA to create super soldiers.

That's what I tell those who are paranoid about this - IMO there is a shill campaign to get people to not use DNA tests. There are many secrets revealed from the large datasets already, a big one is that the myth of a "melting pot" in the United States was a myth and that the population almost never mixed outside of its own religious affiliation for hundreds of years.

Most of these companies, probably all actually, you're paying them to collect genetic data. Yeah, they give you some results that may or may not give you the warm and fuzzies. Aside from that, I'm fairly certain they're all selling your genetic data to anyone buying. That's a little distressing on the face, but the fact that you have no idea what the companies buying your genetic data are doing with it? Well that's god damn sinister.

Yes, go ahead. If you are worried about privacy just lie about the name when you submit it, they don't care. Ancestry is the one to use, especially because it comes with free access to their very good geneology tool - do not use 23andme that's obviously jewish horseshit. Once you receive your results download the data and use third-party services like Gedmatch to analyze the heritage beyond that the initial vendor offers.

The fact is that your DNA is widely available already.

so what? the main issue with 23andme is that they're jews who lie about results. Blackstone bought Ancestry primarily for geneology data. Anyone who wants to could build the same db they have, it's just better to buy someone else's work. Who cares if people can find out who your family are? What your genetic line is? I've done about 8 or 9 so far, between the spit tube ones and the ones you upload your DNA to and from that experience I can tell you it's all a parlor game. Like you I should be 75% British and 25% German. but even the most accurate DNA results I consider peg me at around 14% German and the rest Britt. Originally Ancestry.com and 23andme.com had me at mirror image (85% Britt on one opposite on the other) but over the years they've lined up exactly.

I've noticed that if you use the DNA companies with smaller datasets FTDNA, Genomlink, etc... You get all kinds of minor results that would really be impossible based on family knowledge, but it doesn't really matter because All Of Them Are making Assumptions based on the dataset they collected and userbase's beliefs in who they are.
