Not quite, they passed the option of execution for aggravated sexual battery of persons under age 12.

It will probably be an avoided charge since there are like 4 other ways to charge the same crime, it will probably only get used if there is a serial child rapist and murderer and that's if it doesn't get slapped down by the state courts the first time anybody gets charged. Even still florida will probably flip blue by 2030 and the law will get removed.
