I saw that movie. I don't remember it making a point that 7 exes was a lot or a little. I also remember them being presented as "high-school exes" in an older sense in other words there wasn't a focus on them being explicitly sexual.

Mostly it was just a nerdy movie to appeal to gamers.

Shit, it seemed like all of the young women I knew in the late 90's and early 2000's were constantly going from one boyfriend to another.
