I have always hated light beer but drank a bud light once in a while at a ball game or random corporate thing. Now i openly mock any who orders that and would refuse to drink it unless i was literally dying of thirst. Stupid fucks called the highest selling beer a dying brand lol now it will die

From 1977 to 1980 I lived in London, UK. My favorite beer was Whitbread Ale. Delicious light brown beer, yummy as candy. Decades later, I found it in a beer store in USA and bought one. Tasted like shit. Never again. Only recently did I realize Budweiser bought it and fucked it up. Totally explains everything.
