Anyway, looks like a type of vine plant. Possibly melon, cucumber, or pumpkin? Do you compost, and that's where the seeds came from?

Looks like a lone tomato in the middle left. Possibly a potato near the top. And it looks like you have a row of something coming up across the top.

Let me know what they turn out to be.

Oh, remembered another paragraph. They make plant ID apps for phones, if you're okay with "apps". Might need to wait til they're past the primary leaf stage, then take a photo and the app will ID most common plants.

They look like some type of vine. A melon, cucumber, or pumpkin? Do you do compost that could have seeds from one of those? Possibly sunflower? A number of plants have those same primary leaves.

I usually start seeds indoors first. Couple fluorescent fixtures over 11 x 21 greenhouse trays with 6 packs, for 48 cells each. Drape a clear plastic bag over the top to keep the heat in.

If you really want to know soon, and are okay with "apps" on a phone, they make apps that identify plants from phone pics. Those are mainly primary leaves, so you might need to wait until those new leaves develop a bit more.

Let me know what they turn out to be.

Yes, I did put some compost in there but that was only towards the bottom and then I filled the rest with clean dirt. Dang it. Oh well, Im fine with cucumber. At least its not a useless plant that took over.

Maybe composting isnt the best idea. Spinach ended up in the "italian herb" patch , tomato in the pepper area, everything is a mess. Usually I'd just "go with it" but I wanted everything to more organized this year.

At least the watermelon was planted with pure clean dirt so there shouldnt be any surprises there.

Thank you again for identifying those leaves now I can plan accordingly.
