...is because I see it as the first microcosmic example of what's beginning to emerge as the next "thing" happening in society. That is: society finally starting to fall apart in ways no one can pretend aren't happening, because we, the part of society that was told to fuck off, DID fuck off, and then they come running to us to fix it and we tell them to fuck off.

That's exactly what's happening with reddit right now. They kicked us out, it's gone to shit, and now the owners are doing precisely what we warned they would do. Trust me, the rich irony was not lost on me when I saw posts here about reddit mods going to 4chan to try to rally something together to rectify their entirely predictable predicament. And even more predictably, there was/is none of us rushing to run into their burning building for them.

And I can see that happening en masse in society starting just about now...and our response should be exactly the same. They told us to fuck off (and it was MUCH worse than just that)....ok, we did...society's failing, as it always would, and now they're about to desperately wail at us to fix it all. Oh great, now that it's unfixable you expect us to take ownership over it? Hows abouts we tell you exactly what you told us... "FUCK. OFF."

We have our minds on the next society already anyways.
