Im interested in improving definitions for racial categories. I set out to understand the differences between the races a few years ago— what they were, how they came to be, how related we are to each other, etc— by studying research from archeogenetics and other areas of anthropology and evolutionary biology. It really improved my understanding of race. Im fine with calling blacks human and designating races as subspecies (although Ive called them homo erectus or naledi at times, and theres a bit of truth in those names too) . Calling them another species helps to reduce compassion for them which is probably what should happen.
We should focus on what it means to be white and who can be in that club and what our ambition is as a race.
