Imagine if every minute you ever played games you instead split between the gym and building a business

I mean it, take a second and picture what daily life would feel like to you, and where you would stand compared to other men

All work and no play makes SecretHitler a dull boy.

I won't keep going because this is v/gaming but you know I'm right. Just want the best for my White brothers :)

But we must push the buttons and make the lights flash and the bells ring!

Spending the entirety of your life working to pay taxes to worthless nobodies who want you dead isn't a good idea. Have a couple of vices, indulge them occasionally, but not too much. Live life when you can, you never know when it'll end.

Video games are satisfying because they mimic the kinds of life successes I've brought up. The real thing is far more satisfying.

Also don't get confused about dollar amounts. Wage slavery is a tax that takes much more from you than a high IRS bill.

When you start a business as OP requested, you end up paying less in taxes.

So basically constantly work after you're done working at a job or at school? Pretty sure that person would lose his mind.

You don't though, it actually makes you feel confident and extremely capable.

Video games are psychologically addictive, you know that right?

If you need something that has only existed for about 50 years to not "lose your mind" what does that tell you?

Btw the business becomes your job pretty quick. You can't even picture what it's like not to be under a boss's or teacher's authority?

I have, and I'm working on starting my own business. I don't know what you do, but for me, it is difficult because my programming skills are still not very good, I need to learn a shitload more along with how to actually structure a business and do it without investors and have no staff, aka I have to build it, structure it, legalize it, sell it and run it myself. Between work, the baby, my certs, learning more programming, yard work, helping my mom and sister and starting this business, I think I need something that isn't work.

If you need any anonymous advice on the business stuff you're welcome to message me. My first business was done under similar circumstances.

That's great that you're putting the work in and I hope you're dazzlingly successful.

Yeah I need to learn MS Graph and figure out how to sell it.

[ - ] SecretHitler 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 19, 2023 12:49:25 ago (+0/-0)

Why MS Graph? Seems like a random choice if you don't already know it or know how to sell it.

[ - ] NoRefunds 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 19, 2023 17:11:19 ago (+0/-0)

I'm going to build custom project management, File DMS, SAP modules and BI tool integrations into the Office 365 platform as separate tenants to clients, hence Graph.

Sounds feasable. Any specific challenges you're facing right now?

[ - ] NoRefunds 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 19, 2023 17:21:57 ago (+0/-0)

yeah, not knowing MS Graph =D

I have most of the other things planned out already, and I have a buddy who's a finance guy that designed all the sap for business stuff for the company, so it is basically just actually creating the thing.

completely unavailable

Emulation enters the chat.

[ - ] NoRefunds 1 point 1.8 yearsJul 18, 2023 10:27:20 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah they're only unavailable because Nintendo's legal team are a pack a fucking total douchebags

[ - ] Version6 1 point 1.8 yearsJul 12, 2023 21:45:21 ago (+1/-0)

Are they not thinking about ROMs? Also what segment is missing if we consider ROMs? Random old PC games? Even many of those are available. What are these people going on about?

[ - ] SecretHitler 1 point 1.8 yearsJul 12, 2023 21:55:39 ago (+1/-0)

They aren't counting piracy. It's kind of dumb but also smart because the point of the argument is to relax copyright protections on older works. This is actually needed and not just for games.

Bullshit.
Right now you have access to most of the video games ever made.
Arcade, console, and computer system software libraries are easily found, cataloged, and easily played.
