Yes. This. I have a 20watt joyo bantamp “JaCkMan” it’s a jcm clone and small as fuck and you can’t hear a difference with that and a 50w valveking through a 2x12 loaded with a v30 and a neocreamback. Either one would work for gigging no doubt. Super duper fucking loud. My 150w Valvestate loaded with that cab and also a greenback in parallel for 4ohms is retarded loud. The other thing to consider is speaker impedance the valvestate can do 4 8 or 16 ohm but uses all of its wattage at 4ohms. The valveking on the other hand does it’s deed at 16 ohms. The jackman at 8 ohms but can also do 16. I usually run that into a 16ohm setup due to it bringing down the volume level slightly. Not sure if you’ve heard one of those yet but they will surprise you.
