Mistaking theory for experimental results, they don't realize you can't assume isentropic flow with an idealized gas unless you're doing quick and dirty napkin math. They don't realize that using pronouns is stupid, or thinking women are oppressed is stupid, so on and so forth.

I wonder how many of these people could understand this concept just fine when it has no involvement with people. The average bowling ball is 10 pounds. Would they understand that bowling balls come in a variety of weights while averaging at 10 pounds, or would they still bring up "not all bowling balls." Generally, the Pavlovian associations and manipulation of their feefees related to people perception and all that is what causes the interference.
