I found two little buddies but I'm worried for them

I found one of these guys two days ago. Yesterday I found out he has a buddy. Today they are still sitting in the same spot tucking between a pillow and a mattress outside. Idk much about frogs. I killed a fly a few minutes ago and put it there and they didnt even notice their face is tucked into the pillow. Are they pretty much destined to die or is this normal frog behavior?

Don't touch them with dry hands. They also might be stuck to the dry fabric so wet all around them before you move them as if they're stuck it would hurt but wetting it should unstick them.

Frogs are a bit retarded but they love water, so if you can move them to near water.

They only eat moving things, I've seen people hold crickets with tweezers and move them around to get them to go for it but if they can't catch food themselves they will die.

they are definitely not stuck, they just like to hide in between the two things. I'm dumping them near a fountain. Better than sitting in the fucking mattress. Already had one bigger retard disappear in the garage.

edit: I went over to evict them but they were gone

I get these around my place. They like water. Put them maybe where the downspout drips or near a leaking hose bib. That’s where they want to be. It’s funny how they end up far away from water, but it’s water that they want. Those little guys can’t eat a fly, they are feeding off of tiny microorganisms.

there's a fountain not far off. its recirculated water with anti algae additive. And hurricane hillary is a day away so we're getting random showers. These retards just keep sitting in the same spot. I'm gonna take the mattress and turn it over near the water on some garss.

Frogs use very little calories. They do not need to eat for very long periods of time. So what do you do as a species when you have so much down time and predators are always a threat? You hide and chill for very long time. If they are ever hungry or thirsty they will move.

They chose that spot because the color of the pillow matches their natural color so they're camouflaged. They're not lost they know what they're doing and if they want to move they can move fast.

I checked on them 3 minutes ago and they were both gone. The outdoor couch thing is higher than my knee so at some point they jumped up that high to hang out there.

They have enormous 'tree frogs' in central America. If one gets inside, it can sound like a burglar as they jump around the room.
