Why did you post this in "occult"? Occult doesn't mean evil, it means hidden, but I think a better definition is "hard to see".

While satanists or lucifarians or whatever could certainly use occult knowledge for their own purposes, so can a Christian, Buddhist, etc. In fact, there's a very rich history in Christianity of what is called Christian Mysticism. Jesus was a mystic...when recounting his childhood in the Gospels it was even pointed out that his parents took him to the priests of Egypt (who knew all about Occult knowledge) and he even impressed them.
