Yes.

As I get older, I’ve found many foods affect me differently. Start with an elimination diet: Beef and salt. Once you feel great, start adding things back in and make note of how you feel.

I was a big fan of no-carb back in the day, but Dr Paul Saladino proved humans can tolerate fresh fruit and raw honey. So raw honey on my steak does not afflict me. Or, as of lately: A homemade Carolina Mustard made with raw honey.

I never consume seed oils. A few months ago, I had a salad from a restaurant with ranch dressing. (Soybean oil). The next day I had brainfog all day.

Milk tastes amazing but makes me feel tired the next day. Black Coffee makes me feel great but if I drink too much, I won’t sleep well the following night and the proceeding day is shot.

Also: Wife said my snoring was getting abnoxious. After watching several youtube videos, I found comments saying dairy is the biggest culprit. And eating before bed. I cut dairy from my diet and snoring stopped immediately and I felt great by the third day. I would guess people handle dairy differently. Im a big fan of Greek Yogurt but it isnt optimal for me.

If I ate what normal people ate, I too would be sickly and medicated like everyone else. Instead; I feel great.

As the other commenter mentioned pimples: I will get pimples on my thighs if I consume garbage.

As for fresh fruit: Grapes make me feel tired the next day. Not sure if it’s all the sugar or the pesticides. But I’m at a point in my life where I can’t afford to lose an entire day because of some bullshit I ate.

Went to a Chinese Buffet a few years back and completely broke my diet. I felt down and depressed for like 4 days straight.

I’m convinced the reason Gen Z struggles with anxiety and depression is because they have no concept of garbage in garbage out

I'm currently in the process of reducing carbs and seed oils and I feel really hungry and really ireitatable.

I understand the sentiment if cutting out carbs. Refined carbs and grains make me fiendishly hungry. But raw honey on a steak does not make me crave sugar. Worth experimenting with as the keto audience is religiously against all carbs.

I cut out pretty much all pro-inflammatory crap years ago.

I didn't notice a decrease in inflammation at the time and it wasn't a concern for me.

I will tell you this: On the odd occasion where I eat something with pro-inflammatory oils in it (which is almost never), I'll invariably end up with a pimple somewhere.

Yes thats the issue; your body stops tolerating it.

Stop? no. But it did help.

^ I also apply Diamond G pine salve to my back, hip and thigh. And supplement with ~35 mg CBD every 2 days. It was 2x a day everyday at first. These have done wonders.

Oh, neat. I have never heard of these; and while we may share no identical maladies, who knows, it may still be universal helpful! I may need to try these.

I have added turmuric to my diet, like a spoonful on my egg every morning; a fish oil supplement; various little diet changes [like removing seed oils] and have noticed improvements.

Sometimes also that glucosamine stuff when my knee plays up too badly [which it hasn't done for a year or more now].

Red meat is the most anti inflammatory food you can eat.
I went 100% red meat for a while and by day 4 the decrease in inflammation was so drastic it felt like I lost 50lb.

This is the truth. Went carnivore for 18 months.

Add a caloric restriction on top of it and you’ll end up lean and shredded.

How’d you balance your electrolytes, did you just heavy salt everything or did you supplement?

Yalls genetics are garbage.

Master race genes can eat anything because it's mind over matter.

Ascend beyond material restrictions and life becomes easy

I avoid seed oils except for coconut oil.
Minimal carbs except a daily bowl of oatmeal. No gluten.
Berries, fruits and vegetables in moderation.
I mostly live on meat, eggs and dairy.
No health issues.
I lift 3-4 short sessions a week, walk, climb steps, etc. Body weight exercises (squats, pullups, pushups) every morning.
One and only one cup of coffee a day.

Yes, and no. Generally inflammations dropped severely, but my life sometimes involve around eating outside. When I do, the food is ALWAYS cooked in seed oil and I get inflammations. The gut stays clean most of time then gets bombarded and has to recover again.

It sucks but its a good compromise.

Kinda. But ice baths are what really helps.
