Got the snowblower back from the neighbor mechanic dude. He had to replace some seals and the needle/float to get things working. Runs like a top now, and he cleaned it up real nice as well. Went without any kids this time, and his wife was genuinely disappointed she didn't get to see one of them 😀 Anyway, I'm glad to have a new friend, and a good resource for if shtf.
So a penguin is driving down the road and he notices that his car is overheating. He pulls it in to the first mechanics shop he sees and tells them what's going on. The shop owner agrees to take a look at it and tells the penguin that it'll probably take about an hour, but there's an ice cream shop next next door if he wants to go cool off. Well, the penguin thinks that's a wonderful idea and waddles over for a cone. An hour comes and goes, and the penguin waddles back over to the shop. The mechanic says to him, "looks like you blew a seal" to which the penguin wipes his beak and says "no, that's just ice cream"
Seriously though—it's cool that you've found a good place for your family and I hope there will be many more wholesome anecdotes to come (it's a nice change of pace).
