Funny post and, as is the case with most woman hate posted here, the message is fundamentally misguided.

Women are like children who require the guidance of a loving caretaker, hence the term "husband".

In the same manner as children may present either as spoiled brats or angels from heaven, so too do women.

If you are doing your job and mastering them skillfully, the benefits are manifold.

Leaving aside the matter that this man is not accustomed to sound, which seems to be the point of the post - deaf man experiences the miracle of hearing only to find his wife's voice annoying, falls flat to those whose life experience has led them to experience otherwise.

Case in point; I will occasionally ask my wife to speak so that I may experience the musical quality of her voice.

tl;dr: If your woman sounds like a harpy, you're not doing it right.

The Deaf are like this.
It's weird.
I spent five years learning ASL.
Spent a lot of time around 'the community'
And there is a LOT of puerile bullshit.
They're collectively bratty and infinitely self-pitying.
Not necessarily about being Deaf, mind you, although that's there, but rather about how the word is unfair and untrustworthy because one hundred years ago people treated them bad and took advantage of them.

It's a common experience for Deaf parents to feel emotionally distant, and therefore impart a tremendous sense of guilt, upon their hearing children.

I went to school with a deaf girl. I also had the misfortune to have the locker below hers. She used to hit me on my back whenever she wanted to get to her locker instead of waiting a few moments for me to put/take out my shit from my locker.

That's what she did, hit people to get their attention. And she got away with it.

I can get it on one level. There is a culture that's developed in their isolation (the deaf are far more isolated than the blind). But fuck, you can't inflict that on children just so they will keep you company.

You would expect the blind to be isolated because vision is such a main perception in the world, but it turns out that talking is the more important thing for connecting with people.

Obviosely it's a joke skit. Aside from that? Depends on how deaf he is, how long, if he came into it or was born to it, and if he bothered to "feel" sounds through various methods to better understand the mouth-movements of normal people. They still have language processing, it's just not directly linked to sound, though it can be sorta forced/hacked to.
