For me the most egregious thing that comes up if you analyze Jordan's words and actions is that he has spent his career as famous public intellectual convincing all of the men in the west that their Christianity is fundamentally allegorical. At the same time, he admonishes them for any attempt at forming an ethnocentric movement on theological (ideological) grounds. Unlike most intellectuals in the west today, he doesn't outright deny the Bible or emphasize the irrationality of religion. But he absolutely does do the perennialist, "universalist" thing that separates religious truth from any particular people; it's no longer about real revelation from a real God, but instead turns into a kind of vague upwelling from the collective unconscious. In practical terms, Christianity is everyone's because Christ is a psychological principle. Religious truth per se is just everybody's. He never touched the Quran as far as I know, but I'd suspect Peterson would lump all non-Jewish religions into a hierarchy of having more or less clarity about universal wisdom.

But Judaism is different. The Old Testament is literally different for Jews than it is for you. It's true for you only as allegory. It's true for Jews literally.

JBP sat and listened to Netenyahu give a theological argument for why the land of Israel rightfully belongs to Jews, which involves a real God really decreeing that this land belongs to Jews. This also involves Jews being the chosen people of that God.

JBP sat and listened to this reasoning and did not push back one iota. So, he is fine with Jews having a theory of literal chosenness by God, which entails a literal land claim by divine command, but for everybody else religion is allegorical and (twiddles fingers while looking into the sky) pertains to universal truths he can give you, not through a priest, but through Carl fucking Jung.

Ask yourself this, has Jordan ever talked to a rabbi? Has Jordan ever tried to publicly convince a rabbi that he is right about the interpretation of Torah that he (Jordan) is making for all non-Jews? I'm talking about an actual Jewish religious authority. This hasn't happened to my knowledge. But Jordan has debated Christians and Muslims. Hmmm. In particular, Jordan has surrounded himself with Catholic bishops and Catholic thinkers as if to warm himself to the Christian community, but he never has anythng to say about actual worship. Never. He intellectualizes everything. Where are there public instances of him doing this with any rabbis?

Also ask yourself, between Christians and Jews, which group is making more substantial claims based on literal interpretations of the Old Testament? Clearly it's the Jews. So now it looks pretty strange that Jordan hasn't engaged Judaism directly with Jews and has instead focused all of his psychologizing efforts on white western Christian (or Christianity-adjacent) men. Also, in the much smaller proportion of his discourse where he direclty addresses Jesus, it's always in that mythopoetic intellectual way. To my knowledge, Jordan has never directly interacted with the New Testament in a public way. Taking a bird's eye view of Jordan's whole public discourse, one notices clear and distinct boundaries: Jordan never talks to Jews directly, even though he is primarily intellectualizing their holy book for Christians in the west.
