The 4 universal rules of gun safety are:

Treat all guns as if they are always loaded.
Never let the muzzle point at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

I was at a gun show in Austin when a guy accidentally shot another guy in the leg that was standing next to him. He entered without declaring that he had a concealed handgun, or they would have put a zip tie thru it. He walked to a holster vendor, pulled out his gun to try some holster and shot a guy next to him.

The gun show got quiet, no one was moving except the shot guy that was hopping around on one leg. The cops on hand strolled over. Within 30 seconds everyone knew it wasn’t a crazy shooter, and business recommenced.

Like a dumbass, he had his finger on the trigger. From about 21- 22 seconds into the video you can see he had his left hand on the trigger as he was fucking with the slide with his right hand.

I almost feel suspicious of this video. I've never been to a gun store that doesn't have a sign telling people not to have a loaded gun or to load a gun for sale. If that was his gun the shopkeep should have asked to check it. I've never seen anything close to this. It looks like propaganda for "common sense gun laws."

Well he could have brought the gun in for repair because he couldn't get a live round out of it or some shit as and explanation) but still doesnt explain why he was fucking around with it.
