Bundy had a contract to graze cattle on that land. The land was perfect to act as a preserve for an endangered desert tortoise species.


The existing desert tortoise preserve was on land that Sen. Harry Reid and his son had arranged to sell to a Chinese rare earth mining co.

Bundy, the endangered tortoise, and the cattle were all in the way of the sitting US Senator from Nevada selling valuable mineral rights to the Chinese.

Also, 54 of the 55 ranchers were also driven off their land, bundy was the last one. The local senator pencil needle dick Harry Reid sold that land to the Chinese for solar farms as well.

I believe the FED’s harassed him for years and I seem to recall that the pigs indicted his son for ‘impeding officers from enforcing the law’, after the court had ruled that the FED’s had no case.
