A.) Testing never took off in Africa either

B.) I always said the bane of those Indian/African Ivermectin studies was the confounding variables. If you're swarming with parasites, as most Indians/Africans are, and have covid, then odds are your outcome will be worse if you're not swarming with parasites (like someone on Ivermectin) and have covid.

Bottom line is that we don't know if Ivermectin is worth a damn or not. At worst, it's an innocuous drug that could help... which makes the vehement opposition to it (and motions to outlaw it) all the more suspect.

Nz sold ivermectin for four decades then during pandemic banned it because it harmed a native lizard.
Recently unbanned saying no it actually didn't harm lizards
