What about bob: he was so delightfully annoying. Dreyfus made him look great.

Razors edge: what can I say, the story touched my soul. Great book too.

Lost in Translation: I lived and worked in Japan. This movie resonated, and the best scene ever in any movie was Charlotte in the morning.

You have to understand the time, Star Wars came out in 1977 we were all blown away. CGI was just being born at that time. We were all hungry for Star Trek. It had been awhile. We had conventions and worshiped Logan’s run. At the time Star Trek the motion picture came out. A terrible movie now, but we loved LOVED it. Finally Star Trek. You just have to understand the time.

Gen-X here, so I was too young to enjoy the movie when it debuted and, as you are no doubt aware, we didn't get to decide what was on the TV during those days.

Logan's Run, on the other hand, I have seen many times. That movie is great not only for how shitty some of the special effects were but also how prescient. Suffice to say, I'm a huge fan.

I thought it was SO AWESOME when it came out.

Recently tried watching it with the missus... it has not aged well. It's pretty tedious and unoriginal; heck, it takes a basic plot line from the first season of the original show, even... and makes it dumber and boring.

But it was awesome when it came out, for whatever reason, it is true.

Clint Eastwood, both as an actor and director. The speghetti westerns are timeless. Dirty Harry is a character that we need emulated today. Gran Turismo and Million Dollar Baby are killer flicks that play it straight.
