I just got off the phone with a client at work for something that wound up just being a password reset. I had to walk these 2 women through their own admin duties to get the password reset because they fired the guy who was doing it before...

our economy makes no sense. they keep firing the useful employees and leaving the people who don't know what they're doing. the women that submitted the ticket described a completely incorrect problem, another team worked on it before me, then when I got it I had to do all this sleuthing, then calling them and walking them through the process. I mean I get paid hourly, so I don't really care, but they fired the guy the was doing the job and replaced him with these 2 women (who were both admins btw) who didn't even know this basic process.

They don't need that guy because they have someone they can call to fix their mistakes for them.

If the current trend continues, the businesses of the future will be entirely females who call independent contractors (men) to actually do every aspect of their job for them. Their entire day will consist of correctly calling the right contractor for a given task.

You actually just described my job as a Project Manager in construction… Way to make me feel worthless

[ - ] we_kill_creativity 2 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 17:32:50 ago (+2/-0)

Well...ok, but that's actually what you're supposed to be doing in that case. I mean more like imagine someone getting an IT job who doesn't actually know how to do IT, so anytime they have to do their job, they call an IT contractor to do it.

You just described India.

I can imagine a slippery slope where one woman manages to make all other women obsolete because she is the only one allowed to ask men for help

The wymxn your talking about in this 🤡 🌎 scenario is actually a biological male that calls other males to fix things for the delusional wymxn.

And they'll still fuck it up.

They'll need an in office mxle to remind them which button to push.

And be told to stop mxnsplaining when he whimpers: maybe you should label the buttons.

Large companies stopped hiring based on skill years ago.

Would be even better if there's written directions left behind by the fired guy.

[ - ] anon 3265058 2 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 13:41:47 ago (+2/-0)

I once left detailed written directions after quitting so I wouldn't feel guilty about fucking the cool people I used to work with, only to find out years later that the all female team that survived hr lost all my progress and regressed a decade.

Fired guys written instructions: Go fuck yourself

tell this to the recruiters and marketers that are still gaslighting that the computer programming field is a meritocracy

I love when I get called in to clean up the mess. I always make sure and ask why they hired who they hired if they can't do the job. My brother is a electrical engineer and he has to go around correcting the college kids work and he always makes it a point to ask the company owners why they are having trouble with these college educated imbeciles. He also gathers up the imbeciles after he fixes the problem and laughs at them and makes sure they know he's a redneck and is far more intelligent than they. I love watching him do it. I do the same and rub their fuckin uppity faces in it.

are they being trained properly? i have noticed people deliberately training people poorly so they can force the situation you've explained.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 3 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 13:26:47 ago (+3/-0)

Not out of college. It's been turning all courses into grievance studies. Even math and physics.

And I doubt the people they are replacing give enough of a shit to do a proper job. Nor would they be given the next 3-4 years getting their diversity replacement up to date enough to barely pretend to do the job.

It's all collapsing for a reason. And it's done on purpose.

come up with practical solutions rather than demonic, infinitely negative downward spiral abstractions and theories. enough with this doom and gloom mental picture stuff

[ - ] anon 1195003 0 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 19:48:24 ago (+0/-0)

Only train your replacements enough so that they have to keep sending you back to fix their mistakes.

[ - ] anon 2223137 [op] 0 points 4 monthsJan 11, 2024 05:16:08 ago (+0/-0)

see. and that's why the aforementioned story is invalid. they're not being trained properly. it's not that the people they're answering to are special or more intelligent; they're being deliberating undermined. And just so you know, whenever I hear stories like that from people in the workplace I immediately think they're intentionally not trained properly so someone can tell a story about how valuable they are. idk why higher management tolerates those inefficiencies.

It's called 'building back better' by tearing down everything that went beforehand.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 3 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 13:23:30 ago (+3/-0)

the ticket described a completely incorrect problem

The reason the first step in any troubleshooting is to verify the problem/gripe. From basic help-desk shit to major aerospace engineering projects.

I still remember having to sit a pilot down (a university-educated officer!) to explain to him, after his ~8th re-do of the same gripe, why his radar-based system to measure ground clearance doesn't work when he rolls the plane so that it isn't pointed at the fucking ground.

The day white men start limiting access to their brains is the day the world realizes all modernity runs on white European smarts.

Demand twice what they pay you.

Boycott Jewish owned businesses.

Don't give them your smarts.

[ - ] anon 1195003 0 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 19:51:05 ago (+0/-0)

What do you think AI is about?

Helping the human race?

It's about gathering as much white men's knowledge before they enslave or kill them.

[ - ] anon 1376956 2 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 11:54:39 ago (+2/-0)

You should have reset the password for them so that you could have admin abilities also... That shit would come in handy when they come for your job.

[ - ] anon 2223137 [op] 5 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 12:15:41 ago (+5/-0)

we specifically don't do the reset for "security reasons" (probably job security reasons)

A lot of people seem checked out from work. Hardly anyone gives a fuck about what they’re doing let alone do it right.

[ - ] anon 2725873 1 point 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 13:21:19 ago (+1/-0)

Why help them?

[ - ] we_kill_creativity 1 point 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 12:58:03 ago (+1/-0)

Did they happen to mention why they fired the original guy?

[ - ] anon 1195003 0 points 4 monthsJan 10, 2024 19:52:59 ago (+0/-0)

Showed up for work on time.

Oppressed the people of color that bothered to show up that day by being productive for 8+ hours.

And hoooowyte!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 Make sure when you "explain" the issue you keep them in the dark about the truth. You'll be able to increase your price later. Companies that kick out the good and hard workers and keep the retards, diversity hires and idiots should pay for their stupidity.

Good luck brother!

Remember, communism means everyone is equal, therefore you only need to fill a seat, and needing to give someone a higher salary means waste.

[ - ] anon 2223137 [op] 0 points 4 monthsJan 11, 2024 05:32:23 ago (+0/-0)

that's not really how it's working. they're not "just filling a seat", they're putting diversity hires in there

Office women are completely useless, I constantly have to guide them on what to do and what form I need at places where I do not even work at, because I google the problem first before going in so I know what to do.

[ - ] anon 2223137 [op] 0 points 4 monthsJan 11, 2024 05:02:04 ago (+0/-0)*

I have a lot of patience with.. pretty much any problem until someone starts taking personal jabs at me, then that kind of permanently gets me pissed off at the person and I'm irritated to work with them. Even this problem was fine, but I don't like seeing nonsense, and if you could have heard these two women talking and chatting back and forth... they sounded like they were pulled straight out of a chaotic Indian home and into the office, but one of them was American... this is so dumb. We're wasting potential and efficiencies.

what form I need at places where I do not even work at,

I've been doing this for 10 years, this year, straight. Man, the number of hang ups in HR that would have de railed my life had I not gotten nosey and called HR pretending to inquire about something only to drop a bit of information I could tell they were having trouble finding... what tf they're even doing in those offices idk, but HR needs to be shut down forever

Never train anyone outside of your own business. Don't refuse to train, just leave the trainee without any useful knowledge.

[ - ] anon 2223137 [op] 0 points 4 monthsJan 11, 2024 05:07:23 ago (+0/-0)

There is no way to do that. If I didn't resolve the password issue they'd have kept coming back and eventually asked my boss about what the deal was.
