Not sure why you married her, but there must have been some reason. You have 2 choices at this point. 1st, Hire a therapist/ marriage councilor. They do good stuff, and even if you think it's 100% sure that you'll split, it can benefit as they take the typical anger out of the wife. She'll be less likely to have her lawyer do every vengeful vile thing he can (thus upping the bill). Wife needs to be in agreement to go to joint counseling or it's not going to work.

If #1 fails, divorce. Likely too late to hide your assets at this point although you can stash personal property out of sight at your brothers house.
