Haven't read much of him. Reading The Stand now. I've been cautioned that he is overly Satanic.

I wasna huge King fan in my before life. Stand is a good one, Different Seasons is a novella. Cool stories in there. Skeleton crew was good. And i was a huge Dark Tower guy, except for the ending. His newest stuff i couldnt read. He wasnt the same after his accident.

I forgot about everythings eventual. Good book. I also like nightmares and dreamscapes. Dark tower is the only fantasy i have ever read. I couldnt get into it normally either. But the dark tower captivated me.

I liked the Dark Tower series. Yes, the end was terrible. Other than that, I’ve not read much other.

I have read a handful, I find his scrawling scene descriptions that last forty pages to be tiring. Gerald's game basically takes place in one room..Like an entire book in one room. Salem's lot was okay, before everyone became desensitized to vampire horror due to increasing graphic content in film and tv.

Other than maybe Grisham he's probably the most important fiction writer alive.

That's hilarious.

No idea why. I've read one of his books prior to this and I think it's a very uncontroversial statement if you look to mainstream critical opinion.

I liked insomnia. Right up until the end. As usual with his books.

The only fucked up book is IT, because it has a children's orgy. After this book it's obvious that he is a Judeo-Satanist degenerate.

Three past midnight is also on the fucked up list.

I get his titles mixed up. Thanks. I read most of his books back to back like 20 years ago (husband is a huge fan) and a lot of them blend together.

What made it seem fucked up to you

Graphic rape scene of a little boy.

You ever read the girl who loved Tom Gordon? He does way better at his short stories than the longer ones.

I agree. On both of your takes.

Can you elaborate?

Dunno about 'Judeo'. Seems to be a Lovecraft-like New Englander except a lot less right-wing. But seems very gothic and satanic.
