Verbal tics are hard to get rid of, but I think the first speaker did a solid job. He sorta fumbled a little bit at toward the end of his time, but otherwise he is eloquent.

It's also nerves too. In my previous position, I'd have to get on the building PA system to tell hundreds or thousands of people what's going on. I'd of course hear my own voice, and I hate hearing my own voice.
