There's a random flock of those guys in my hometown. They're not native to the area. I don't know if it's true, but the story goes that they escaped from an aviary at the local college when a hurricane blew through back in 2004.

They seem to be very adaptable birds and flourish anywhere!

Most of the parrots' lineage can be traced back to the Miami Zoo's aviary that was destroyed in '92 during Hurricane Andrew. We used to have a colony of them in our back yard.

There are a bunch in Australia flying everywhere.

I used to try to teach them to say WHITE POWER! but they'd look at me confused and drop a duece from their bird ass..
