I've always avoided their stuff because it was over-priced, and tended to fail earlier than other, cheaper gear. Unfortunately in the PNW, the weekend hiker tends to like them because trendy, and they actually do hold up to a modicum of light usage.

Their light weight long coats make below zero weather really doable. I’ve had good luck with my coat. It’s ugly as sin but I don’t know another brand that does them like this. Help?

Modern and lightweight? I dunno, not something I would normally wear. I tend towards heavy, old-school, military off-cast gear.

It lasts a good long time(I haven't bought new stuff in decades), does the job, and has a lot of pockets. And it used to be cheap at the Army surplus, goodwill(or other thriftstores), and the like.

And watch out for the newer stuff, it's too thin, rips easily, wears out within a couple year's worth of work, and isn't as robust against the weather.

I've been to countless forests in my life and at least 80% of them had "no niggers allowed" signs. The other 20% didn't have signs but the trees actively attacked all non-whites, tying them up in roots and dragging them underground.

I don't know what color the trees were - they looked like birch, palm and fir trees to me - but apparently they identified as white trees, and tried to prevent ingress of niggers.
