Baseball is superior to cricket

My husband is currently watching baseball. I don't enjoy any of the sports balls but this one is very much like cricket but so much less shitty and boring.

Baseball originated in the US, back when the US was still great. So sad the golden age has passed.
It is also a great sport due to low numbers of non-white players.

Hills side of the cricket bat is menacing and cricketers invented sports ball sledging, so it wins on those grounds in my humble opinion.

Baseball is boring as hell and cricket is a pajeet-thing. What we need is basedball.

Baseball is fun to play, entirely boring to watch (good chance your husband is a retard)

Cricket is for greasy curry niggers and other assorted imbeciles

Sure it is. Anything that’s associated with poos is literally shit

Just a degree or two less shitty and boring.

The first cricket match I was exposed to was in the 80s. It was a 5 day international match, and ended in a draw. WTF!

Yeah, I like T20...you get 20 overs max and you switch. Makes it closer to a few hours than days.

That's all I'm saying.

Heart attacks are superior to flaying.

That's because it's American.

Nah, T20 (you have a pitch limit) is the best form of cricket, and is far more entertaining than baseball:

- baseball has a "fair" field that's about 90 degrees...cricket, you hit the ball and doesn't matter which way it'll go

- baseball player hits a home run, he then has to sit and wait to hit again...cricket batters keep hitting until someone gets them out. Far more entertaining watching a hitter get boundaries in a row...4, 6, 6, 6...

- other than whatever cricket calls halftime, its faster paced than baseball.

My $0.02.

I'm sure it is.

@Cunt - best reason why cricket is superior: if the bowler is a jackass and the catcher fucks up, they scored four points on themselves. Best schadenfreude ever!

Let me know when T20 can live up to the ads with colourful ball trails etc.

In the 90s the NHL had a streaking blue line to help follow the puck...didn't end well.

Wait until you sit through a no-hitter...just a pair playing catch and a whole lot of standing around.

I was at the Marlins' first no hitter in '96 against the Colorado rockies. 11-0 and not a boring game at all. Sportsball events were still clean, family fun at the time.

Lol, I remember actually liking the streaking puck and was disappointed that it didn't last long. Watching hockey on CRTs kinda sucked.

I might be blending a lack of offense by both teams as a good game of defense.

Was sweet to see a grand slam at Miller Park on 4th of July though.
