The tanker was loaded up with 1.8 Million gallons of fuel oil, plus all of the cargo containers. Imagine the kinetic energy of all that rolling at just 8 knots... it seemed to be under acceleration as well.

How much does a passenger train weigh?
Assuming that the train has two locomotives and 14 cars, out of which half are Superliner Sleepers II (7 cars) and half Superliner Coach II(7). We reach the total weight of 1,228 tons empty and 1,278 tons loaded with, 420 passenger in 7 Superliner Coach II and 140 passengers in Superliner Sleeper II.
So, the brige was hit with the mass of 91 loaded passenger trains all at once. Damn.

B) Terrorist attack: if the "tit for tat" regarding Russia stating it was us responsible for their theater terror, would be a real quiet way to "do a terror", plus wrecks critical infrastructure and logistics for several months.
C) False flag: I don't see how this could be beneficial, other than a great excuse to funnel money to another lefty shithole?
Personally think this is another "big event" when we end up finding out WWIII has been going for awhile.
If I recall, bridges are built to withstand a hit of certain size. I can see the pylon being damaged, but the entire thing just falls after, imo, a light tap... But I'm no seaman.
A light tap? I don't think you understand how heavy a fully loaded container ship is. Literally nothing light about it. It's not like it would bounce off the support, that much mass at that speed would collapse a fucking building.

Wouldn't have mattered if they were going 2 knots or 80, that bridge wasn't engineered in a way that wouldn't have failed catastrophically with any object the size of that container ship empty or was retrofitted in a way that could attempt to prevent such an accident.
That damn ship is so goddamn big any winds will basically push it too. Rate of speed is really a moot point, it's still DEI or Terrorism at work.
I think the speed limit is 15 knots or something. And you need to remember that a port pilot was there on board from the Port Authority guiding the captain through the port.

Boats this size have multiple engines and thrusters to prevent such accidents. Going 8 knots is extremely unlikely an accident.
Every US harbor I have been in has a 5 knots max limit and this is for small boats.
This was:
A) DEI
B) Terrorist attack
C) False flag

Thanks for noticing and demonstrating some people still have critical thinking skills.
