From the video description:

In this video, we will be be discussing the RUGER LCP II CHAMBERED IN .380 AUTO. We will compare this model to other types of carry guns in similar category to help establish considerations for comfort while carrying.

The features will be detailed and we will discuss how these different features might have value to the owner.

A brief overview of range performance will be presented along with a summary of the carry experience with regards to holster selection and coverall comfort.

In closing, we will present overall impressions of the firearm as a carry option.

I have the 1st gen and the II. A miserable gun compared to any larger frame firearm. Made barely acceptable with the addition of a Hogue grip. I loath target practice. No fun.

But it is my primary carry for deep concealment. it is my most used firearm 10x over.

I have a 1st gen as well. Cheap 9mm 8+1(mag extension) fits just about anywhere. Not the best option but it does the job. I wouldn't use it at any big distance but it'll do just fine if you aren't completely useless on the range.

I have the LCP MAX. Shoots 10 but there’s an extended mag option that fires 12 iirc.

How does the LCP Max feel to shoot compared to the original LCP? The original LCP sucked to practice with.

There's no such thing as a compromise on power. It's an argument made by dolts. There is just the right tool for the job and that's it.

Concealment and everyday carry is for 380s and below imo. Everything else is just practically too large and anyone that says they carry everywhere with 9mms and above is lying. They are leaving them in their cars.

First off,I don't attend places like court houses and such.
Second,I do carry everyday IWB 9mm Ruger MAX9 or Glock48
Glock is often open carried but IWB is easy enough.
DC Tundra is a war wagon that's well provisioned should Kyle require backup

Not trying to argue with you but I do carry a 9mm Sig P365, IWB appendix carry, about 95% of the time I leave the house. And no, I do not leave it in the car.

To your point, I do carry a NAA Guardian in .32ACP when my attire necessitates something smaller that can fit in my back pocket.

It's a .380, and the trigger is goad fucking awful. Some people love and swear by it but I'm not one of them.

It is better than the gun you left at home because it wouldn't fit in your banana hammock though.

I like the original LCP. Very small. Crimson Trace has a laser for it that doesn't make it much bigger.

Better to get a Sig 365 or a Glock 43/26 in 9mm. If you are going to carry one, and I'll admit that I have one, suggest looking into Hornady Critical Defense ammo for it (Massad recommends the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense Solid Copper Bullet, I've never used it or tryed it) and Alabama Holster Company for a holster.

I just got the new Ruger Security 380. Chose it over the LCP. The security 380 is a little larger, has much better sights and trigger, and holds 15+1 380.
