Been chopping wood lately. Spent an hour every day swinging an ax and it's super satisfying. I get swole, and I get to set shit on fire afterwards. One of my neighbors just had a big live oak taken down and there was a bunch of perfect sized logs just waiting on the curb. Been working through that, but now I think I'm addicted to chopping up firewood. Gonna have to source more timber soon to keep up with my habit.
i'm just teasing. though i do think that real exertion outside is better than artificial exertion. gyms always make me think of hamster wheels. controlled exercise to keep pets healthy.
