Let's see if this causes damage to Sony PC games later on, or if gamers will typically forget about it when the next big thing drops.

I could tell you but you wont like it, best are games that you can mod (not paying for it) and that don't require any accounts or serves to work on single player.

Oh I like it. Also best games are those that don't install anti cheat software that is malware and can never be deleted from your computer because it gets installed on a kernel level.

I just recently got back into gaming. It used to be 4 CD's, 100 hours of gaming (ff7 or ff8). Now one game, 80GB, around 15 hours and it's done, with often not all to much replay value.
Or when DLC's came out years after the initial release, completely free.

I don't mind paying a little bit for a dlc if we talking stuff like Witcher 3 Blood and Wine where you easiyl get 10+ hours and a nice story, but whos fault is that? fucking kids buying this shit, if you don't buy the micro jewerey AND stay away form the next game, now that sends a message.
